National space science Olympiad (NSSO) is a nationwide initiative to find budding space scientists across Indian schools. It will be conducted across India and Indian schools abroad in 3 levels in Jan, Mar and June 2017 respectively:
Level 1 is in schools and paper based.EHF will make the QP based on NCF-2005 in consultation with ISRO.
Level 2 will be online at 200+ computer centres and
Level 3 will be project based to be conducted with cooperation from ISRO/other space agencies.
All participants will be get certificates. Merit students will get prizes/scholarship .
The prizes will be given jointly by ISRO/other space agencies and Univent/EHF at Manickshaw centre, Delhi.
Benefits
The Young budding space scientists can be a potential human resource to Indian space science in future.
The Olympiad is self-sustaining and will be conducted at `nil` cost to the government.
