As a Web Designer, you will play an important role in SManik Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. You will be working with a team of designers who have exposure to the international market. You will also get to work, learn, and interact with foreign nationals on international websites in different languages; knowing foreign languages is not required, but creativity, innovation, good knowledge of design, layout, and html is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for some challenging work developing HTML5 pages using CSS3 properties.

Show a higher than normal interest in web technology and development and must be willing to go the extra mile to achieve their assigned goals and deadlines.

Enthusiasm at extreme level is a must. The successful candidate must also be a confident and accomplished communicator able to fit in with a highly active and integrated team and work processes.

Work with multiple teams to create HTML mocks up.

Define new UI elements / frameworks for use by development teams.

Solicit usability requirements.

Proven ability to innovate for new markets

Knowledge, Skills & Essentials:

1+ years of Professional Web front-end development experience

1+ years of Html5 and Mobile Web UI development experience

Excellent knowledge of Javascript, jquery would be an added advantage as well as HTML5 / PHP

Strong skills in creating optimized in size and render time HTML/CSS code mark-up based on prepared visual design.

Experience of optimizing multimedia content for the web.

Comfortable both working within an existing code base and writing code from scratch

Excellent problem solving, design and debugging skills.

Excellent communication skills both in team, across team and with management and other disciplines.

Desirable:

Experience with social APIs (e.g. Facebook, Google+, linked, etc.)

Preferred to have knowledge in web technologies (CSS3, JavaScript & JQuery, AJAX and XML)
