FSSAI Food License or FSSAI Food Registration has its own importance.it is issued for providing quality food. FSSAI (Food License in India) is an abbreviation used for the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. This Food License or FSSAI Food Registration, comes under the Food safety and standards Act, 2006. It is an autonomous body. This FSSAI Food License or Food Registration Certificate is mandatory for businesses related to food like Restaurants, Hotels, catering, etc. All the administrative control is by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Those organizations involved in this food business must have registered for the Food Registration Certificate. And must have a 14-digit registration number, which is known as FSSAI (Food License in India) Number and printed on food packages.
This major step is taken by the government for the food license registration system to ensure the food quality and the product goes through several quality checks. This will increase the standard of the product, reducing the instances of adulteration, and improve the accountability of manufacturers by issuing food service license. The Brand Owner shall display the FSSAI Food License in India logo and his license number on the label of the food package. A food license is issued based on the food business activities like turnover, a scale of business.
