Q – WHAT IS NIOS? IS THIS IS A VALID BOARD?
Ans- NIOS formally known as NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OPEN SCHOOLING OR DELHI OPEN SCHOOL OR DELHI OPEN is the Central Govt Board, at starting time it was part of CBSC but in 1989 it was made an autonomous government board by the Ministry of Human Resources under the NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 1986. So it is a valid board and accepted all over the world.
Q- Can we do the 10th and 12th from NIOS?
Ans – Yes you can do the 10th and 12th from NIOS, it is very easy to do the 10th and 12th from NIOS, NIOS conducts two exams in a year one in April- May and the second in Oct – Nov. So you can take the admission in any session and cleared your exam.
Q- What are the Minimum age criteria for admission in 10th and 12th admission?
Ans- for 10th class admission student's age should be a Minimum of 14 years and the maximum age had no bar, for 12th class admissionstudentsthaved no age bar but He/she must have passed in 10th class by recognized Board.
Q- Can we do a Compartment from NIOS?
Ans – Yes you can do compartment from NIOS, you can appear in fail subject only, and the pass mark that you had cleared in your exam is transferred by NIOS by TOC policy.
Q- Can we make improvements from NIOS?
Ans – Yes you can make improvements from NIOS although you had cleared your exam other than NIOS Board.
Q- What is the document required for admission?
Ans – for 10th class admission –
•Age proof
•School leaving certificate
•Last year passed or failed certificate ( any one of them)
•One address proof in a parent or student name.

For 12th class admission
The student should have passed 10th12th from any reputed board;
