Looking for a SouthIndian Tamil/Malayalam speaking person based in South Delhi to visit and befriend a recently widowed octogenarian . The ideal candidate is an empathetic and positive person with a passion to improve the lives of lonely seniors.
As a befriended you would attempt to engage in meaningful conversation, encourage to get out to local shops, cafes , concerts and offer opportunities to expand their social circle and improve confidence.
An ideal candidate would be either a homemaker with grownup children or a recently retired professional who has time on their hands and would feel privileged by the opportunity to enhance a seniors life.
I am expecting a twice weekly visit for a few hours late morning or afternoons.
