Knobs &Handles: Ceramic Knobs: Ceramic bulb shaped Knob - Delhi

Ceramic knob in colourful and floral pattern is available on Indian shelf in a wide range of designs in 1.4 inches diameter approx.1.4 inches projection approx. The ceramic knob is a very subtle design in which the background is kept white .The ceramic knob is made by the artisans and is exclusively hand made .The designs are of the artisan or it maybe given to him. It takes months to prepare a single knob. The base of the knob is ceramic that is made using the old technique and dried out in the sun. The first thing you notice is a blue circle with a white dot .This blue circle is the focal point of the knob .The focus is then shifted to the small creeper which has a black stem with small berries which are also in the same blue colour as the one in the centre .the design then continue by filling in the blank spaces with four leaves depicting the four directions north , south , east or west .The upper and the lower leave is in the same colour whereas the side leaves is also in identical colour .The upper and the leave is in dark pink colour with the pattern of leave made on its surface with two white coloured dots in the centre of the leave. The leaf on the side of the knob is sky blue colour with the pattern of leaf in black colour with the regular two white dots in the centre. The striking thing of this knob is that the space between the leaves is filled with blur berry creeper shrub. Four leaves have four creeper adjacent to them. The design on the surface is completed with a black coloured band and grey coloured thicker band on the surface of the band. The subtle design makes it an ideal choice for the bedroom and living room furniture .It will also stand out in case it is applied to white coloured furniture and in the kitchen drawer , cabinets .Even though it is in white colour it des not stain easily as it is polished and is cleaned using plain soap and water .
